About Us

The Autism Awareness Walk was started in Plattsburgh, NY in 2005 through the dedication of local parents, volunteers, and community businesses.  It is a non-competitive walk dedicated to raising awareness of autism and raising funds to support local programs.  The walk is not timed and walkers can walk all or part of the distance.  The route is wheelchair and stroller accessible.  Dogs are allowed, but please pick up after them.
